SCi Entertainment, the publisher responsible for game titles like Hitman and Tomb Raider, could sell 10% of its stake to media mogul Time Warner.

The Business website reports that initially, Time Warner wanted to buy the entire stake of SCI, but their plans changed further on, as a 20% participation was targeted. The 20% stake target was not kept either, Time Warner officials taking the final decision of purchasing 10% of SCi shares. Right now, Time Warner management has decided that the restructuring of AOL is the priority. They also plan to perform a share buyback in AOL.

The Inquirer online edition reported yesterday that SCi Entertainment is having takeover talks with several companies. SCi representatives confirmed that their company has been approached by several parties, and according to Reuters, Midway and Electronic Arts are the main runners in the buyout.

Looks like every major player in the gaming and entertainment field wants a piece of SCi Entertainment but that comes as no surprise as their list of games is quite impressive featuring titles like: Hitman, the Tomb Raider Series, Conflict: Desert Storm, Rally Championship Extreme and Total Overdose.
