10-Year-Old Boy Steals Van, Damages 5 Cars

In Philadelphia, a 10-year-old boy went on a joy ride Sunday afternoon, attempting to drive a van whose driver had left the keys in the ignition.

The video shows the white van driven by the young boy side-swiping 5 cars before it actually comes to a screeching halt, and the boy starts running away.

The driver was unloading furniture at the time of the incident, in West Philadelphia. He didn't even realize what was happening until he returned to his van, found it was missing, and noticed all the commotion in the neighborhood.

As innocent as the curious boy's act was, he will be charged with criminal mischief, receiving stolen property and unauthorized use of an automobile, and tried as a juvenile, Huffington Post reports.
