Ten-year-old Dan Davis from Brockton, Massachusetts has called 911 to alert them about his mother's unfair treatment.

He hung up before being put through, but the dispatcher called back and spoke to his mother, who explained he was just upset about having to go to bed.

The rather spoiled kid threatened mother of six Shamayne Rosario with calling the police if she didn't agree to let him stay up.

According to Enterprise News, at approximately 8 p.m. on Wednesday, she had to explain his motivation to the operator, even offering to put him on the phone.

“Dan, would you like to talk to the police, because you can’t be calling 911 when there is no emergency,” she can be heard asking him, as the dispatcher stands by.

He refused to come to the phone, and the police department sent an officer to the house, to check if everything was OK. The family wasn't charged, and Dan received a lecture on when it's appropriate to dial 911.
