Computer maker Dell was already known to plan the release of a new tablet PC, one that would sport a large 10-inch touchscreen display, and some more info on the device has started to emerge.

The upcoming device was rumored to arrive on shelves under the name of Dell Streak Pro, and has just made an appearance on GLBenchmark's database, a recent article on Streak Smart reports.

Among the details that emerged in the new device, we can count the fact that it would run under Android 3.1, the mobile operating system flavor that was unveiled on Tuesday during the Google I/O conference in San Francisco, and which is already rolling-out on Motorola XOOM.

The tablet was also tested with the Android 3.0.1 platform version, though Dell would certainly try to load the latest OS version on it.

The specifications list of the upcoming device would also include NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor (likely the T25) with two cores, clocked in at 1GHz each.

Moreover, the device should sport a large 10-inch display, just as previously rumored, and should be able to deliver a 1280 x 752 pixels resolution (this is what the said database shows, although the tablet was previously rumored to boast a 1280 x 800 pixels resolution).

The Dell Streak Pro was tested for CPU performance (float and integer results), for high-level 3D performance results, and more.

Those interested in learning more on the testing the upcoming device was subjected to should head to the GLBenchmark website here.

For the time being, no other details on the tablet PC emerged, and we'll have to wait for Dell to unveiled more of them, or for a leak, to learn what connectivity options the device would pack, as well as the amount of memory it would arrive on shelves with.

Specific info on the availability or pricing of Dell Streak Pro lack as well, but it was rumored to arrive in summer, and more should emerge soon, so stay tuned to learn the news.
