Since our colleagues attended ASUS's conference at MWC 2012, we have some things to share, especially in regards to the Transformer Pad Infinity tablet.

As the first to bear the new brand (Transformer Pad has replaced Eee Pad), the newcomer is also said to be the first slate to use an ARM Cortex A15-class CPU.

The processor's full name is Qualcomm's Snapdragon S4 MSM8960.

The 28nm Krait architecture came into play in its making.

Additionally, Transformer Pad Infinity is touted as the first Full HD LTE tablet ever made. Given the display resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels, we tend to agree.

If your interest has been piqued, head on here for the full scoop.

Note: Fellow editors Cosmin Vasile and Sorin Nita are on the floor at the 2012 MWC show and are keeping us posted with pictures and live reports on the latest product previews and launches.
