14 DAY TRIAL // 1-800-Recycling.com has announced the latest winner of a free Apple iPad, via its “My Recycle List,” an iPhone app designed to help anyone to participate in the recycling of items they would otherwise throw away.
1-800-Recycling.com is an interactive website dedicated to enhancing and simplifying the consumer recycling experience.
The people behind the service created the “My Recycle List” app, which offers recyclers a chance to win a free iPad after downloading and reviewing the interactive recycling tool.
Contestants are put into a drawing, while 1-800-Recycling.com randomly selects one avid recycler.
This time around, the winner was Greg Lunday of Gresham, Oregon.

Basically, the 1-800-Recycling program offers a dedicated tool to find recycling locations nearest to the customer. Every zip code in the US is covered, and the program can be used for whatever it is you wish to recycle.
Upon request, users are directed to responsible recyclers of electronics, tires, oil, paint, glass, plastic, wood, mattresses, carpet, junk. According to the folks at 1-800-Recycling, “basically everything that can be recycled” is covered.
Softpedia reported in July that My Recycle List” was the #1 app of its kind for the iPhone. According to its makers, it still is.
