Cyber War News informs us of a hacking operation that exposes the usernames and passwords of more than 1,700 individuals who own accounts on the Yamaha Commercial Audio Systems website.

Unfortunately, not only the users were exposed by a hacker called Muldaria48, but also a number of 8 site administrators.

Since Yamaha Commercial Audio Systems didn’t take any measures so far, we’ve contacted them and urged them to handle the situation as soon as possible to make sure their customers will not be targeted by malicious operations.

On the other hand, it’s a shame that websites storing sensitive information in an unencrypted form still exist.

With the large number of hack attacks taking place these days, administrators should really ensure that in case of a breach private data belonging to their customers can't be easily obtained.
