It's official MMORPG fans, the European website for Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning is now open, as GOA, the France Telecom-owned publisher of online games has announced today, inviting gamers to sign up for the massively anticipated WAR closed beta test.

"We can't wait to embark on WAR's adventures with players from across Europe," commented Ghislaine Le Rhun, Senior Vice President of GOA. "Opening subscription applications for the closed beta test today is the first step on the road to uniting the whole of Europe in battle. Those fortunate enough to be selected also have the hugely important role of being able to shape the WAR world by offering essential feedback on their experiences to the development team at EA Mythic."

Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning is slated for an early 2008 release, while selected gamers can gain access to this sensational MMORPG months before its official release, by registering at the game's European site. However, as an applicant, you will need to record some degree of success, in order to be able to get a glimpse at the persistent online world of Warhammer, populated by internationally beloved characters and races of the epic Warhammer universe. Think you're up to it?
