The creators of the hit animated series, 'South Park', will return to making movies with real live actors in them, although they will not turn out to be just your regular comedy or monster films. The duo has just signed a deal with Paramount Pictures for two projects, 'My All-American' and 'Giant Monsters Attack Japan!'.
These will be the first projects in many years in which the duo are working with actors, the last ones dating back to the pre-'South Park' period ('Cannibal: The Musical', 'Orgazmo'). And, as customary with Parker and Stone, both will be involved in the writing of the scripts, Parker will direct and Stone will produce.
In an interview with 'Variety', Stone refused to reveal more information about the upcoming comedies, but he did say that, quote, '"Giant Monsters" will combine live-action with the "rubber suit" techniques made popular in Asian imports like "Godzilla"'.

Only one issue remains to be solved for the two movies: considering the amount of celebrities that found reason to feel offended by the 'South Park' series, who would want to star in its creators' film? 'Neither of these movies feel like vehicle of big stars, but this will be our opportunity to find out if there are any actors left who want to work with us', Stone said.
'My All-American' will be the first comedy to get the green light and a start date for its production has been set for 2007.
