iLounge grabbed the device for a review and discovered that it blocks the headphone ports of an iPod nano / touch while in use, and that it can replenish an iPod's vigor when music isn't being played. RichardSolo also notes that its device is capable of recharging and powering up an Apple iPhone too, although the aforementioned reviewers have discovered that the smart backup battery provides only 500mA of current, which is below the iPhone's official 1A spec.
