There's no doubt that Sylvester Stallone wants his latest endeavor, and probably the last of the 'Rocky' movies, to kick ass when it comes out later this year. As usual, nothing sells better than sex and, let's face it, not many were those who embraced the idea of seeing him take on the part of Rocky Balboa again.
So, seeing that the world is no longer as eager to see him throw punches in the boxing ring (he is 60, after all and nothing can change that!), Sly chose to talk about the sacrifices that this movie implied. In a recent interview, the actor said that he had to give up sex completely while shooting for 'Rocky VI', drawing a parallel between what he did and the way athletes abstain themselves when there's an important sports event to take part in.

'There is only so much energy in the body and I know some athletes in the film didn't adhere to the ban, but I did because I knew it was the only way. I hear David Beckham says he doesn't, but maybe he's the exception. The people I know who fight all stick to the sex ban because if they don't, they lose', the actor told the 'Daily Record' newspaper.
Sylvester, who is married to former model Jennifer Flavin, also admitted that his age no longer allows him to train as hard as he used to. His body is still in good shape, but that doesn't mean that he can take countless hours of heavy training as he used to.
'But the other problem now is I can't run any more so all my training was either in the ring or with weights. Things just wear out. All those years of heavy leg lifting and running up steps now mean when I try to run everything hurts - my knees, hips and even my neck. There's nothing plastic in there yet, but we are getting close to it', Stallone explained.
