Sony too should take a look at this

Those of you who've played Resistance: Fall of Man and liked it (who wouldn't...?) may like this too. A guy going by the name of Deadpixels (on the Internet of course) has whipped up this great looking Resistance sequel box art/cover, dubbed antithetically "Resistance: Rise of Man". Neat title, and an even neater cover. Have a look!

Here's what Deadpixels wrote about his artwork, up on vgboxart.com:

"Hello again, just dropping by. I recently bought a PS3 and my God do I love Resistance: FoM.. So much that I think it deserves a sequal. I remade the whole box from scratch only using images of the game not made by myself. Everything else is as home made as fresh home made pie.

Hope you like it. PS. GET RESISTANCE IF YOU DON'T ALREADY HAVE IT."

Have you looked at the box art already? I'll tell you, given the detail and the hard work put into this, Sony could very well grant Deadpixels' wish and at least announce the sequel, if not even use his box design to say... a 50 percent resemblance? It screams Resistance!

For those who aren't very familiar with the game, in Resistance: Fall of Man for PS3, the U.S. and Britain band together in a last-ditch effort to save Europe and Asia from a horrific scourge. In mere decades, a species of unknown origin, the Chimera, propagate a virus that converts other life forms into more Chimera, thus overrunning Russia and all of Europe. Humanity stands little chance of survival of course, and the tide of the battle rests on the shoulders of U.S. Army Ranger, Sgt. Nathan Hal - you!

Leaving Deadpixels' nifty creation aside for a moment, let's all hope that Insomniac Games and Sony Computer Entertainment do create another great combination of exotic weapons and vehicles with the same physics system used in Resistance Fall of Man to ultimatelly deliver another unique human and alien arsenal within Resistance Rise of Man... or whatever they want to call it.

Yes Deadpixels, you're right, a sequel is definitely in order!
