Yesterday, at around this very hour, a rumor appeared on the Internet, according to which the 'Playboy' founder and boss had a mini-stroke over the weekend and that it was very likely that he was in declining health. But, at 80, Hefty seems to be still going strong.
Despite the fact that Hefner's spokesperson immediately refuted all the stroke-related rumors, the reports spread in the press to such an extent that he himself felt compelled to make a public statement and set the record straight.
Hugh told the press that the past weekend was just like any other and that the only sick person in the Playboy Mansion was his number one girlfriend, Holly Madison. 'We had a lingerie party Saturday night and I went up a little early because my girlfriend Holly had a cold. I am in very good health. I've never felt better', Hefner said.
The lingerie party he is referring to is the annual Midsummer Night's Dream bash and it was followed by the regular movie night, on Sunday. Among the celebrities' guests that attended the big party at the Playboy Mansion were actors Luke and Owen Wilson, actor and comedian Jack Black and former 'Jackass' star, Johnny Knoxville.
