Following the amazing success of the latest movie with the same name, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End has recently proven to be a massive success as far as Europe is concerned. In fact, it's so successful that it took the No. 1 position for the Xbox 360, PS3, PS2 and PSP in the UK, being also the No. 3 most requested title for Nintendo's DS and Wii systems.

Since its launch in May, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, published by Disney Interactive Studios, has sold wonderfully for all platforms, but mostly in the UK, France and Germany. Disney Interactive Studios is the interactive entertainment affiliate of The Walt Disney Company, self publishing and distributing a broad portfolio of multi-platform video games and interactive entertainment worldwide.

As Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End is inspired by the events, locations and characters from the second and third Pirates of the Caribbean films, the game puts players in the shoes of captain Jack Sparrow, Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann and other familiar characters, as they have to perform skirmishes and acrobatic maneuvers in their journeys, taking the movie's story even further.

"We are extremely pleased with the success of our Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End video games," said Craig Relyea, vice president of marketing, Disney Interactive Studios. "Fans all over the world are drawn to the dynamic gameplay and stunning graphics that provide players with a truly immersive experience that goes beyond the events of the films."

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End is currently available for purchase worldwide for users of Microsoft's Xbox 360, Nintendo's Wii and DS, Sony's PS2, PS3 and PSP systems and of course, for the PC. Last time we checked, some 2.8 million copies of the game were shipped to retail stores worldwide. Think there's one left for you?
