ZEN Studios, “the masters of pinball simulations,” along with Publisher X, have announced ZEN Pinball: Inferno for Apple's iPhone and iPod touch. Fans of ZEN's Pinball: Rollercoaster are sure to love this reinvented pinball game with 3D environments and physics, according to the iTunes App Store.

Main features of the game, according to the iTunes App Store description, include the above-mentioned full 3D environment and physics, and a hot-seat multiplayer mode. Game modes include:

· Dumpy's endurance, where players light up the rotating rhythm area to test Dumpy's endurance in a bumper-smacking game mode;
· Airdancer Multiball, a game mode where you blow up the party puppet with the spinner, and get the stage-rocking Airdancer multiball;
· Backstage Multiball, where you will need to prove your party skills in the whirling Headbang arena, and then hide the balls backstage to start the marvelous Backstage Multiball;
· Extra ball - just keep shooting bumpers until you get an Extra Ball (a hundred hits required);
· Hot string solo, during which you grab the guitar by lighting up the Hot String targets and play a sizzling Hot String Solo on the strings of the fiery slingshots;
· and a PartyMeter game mode, which has players rocking the house mastering five different stages and, in the end, earning big prizes.

ZEN Pinball: Inferno for iPhone and iPod touch is currently localized in English only. Version 1.0 of the game comes close to 10 MB in size, and requires firmware 2.0 (or later) to run. The currently-available OS version for Apple's iPhone and iPod touch is 2.1. ZEN Pinball: Inferno costs $4.99, and can be acquired via the App Store here.
