'Don't Cha' Wish You Said Yes, Paris?

News just got out that the heiress turned fashion designer turned singer was offered the great chance of recording 'Don't Cha', before the sexy girls from the Pussycat Dolls were even heard of. And what did Paris do? She turned it down, probably because she wanted to record her own songs (meaning, written by her own little hand, as she claims).

Apparently, Paris heard the song and didn't like it all, walked out and the coast became clear for the Pussycat Dolls to come, record it and turn it into an international smashing hit. In her defense, Miss Hilton says that she is now very sorry for taking such a hurried decision but insists that she was only played a rough version of the song, very different from the final one.

'I think I did hear the song, but not in the format we all came to know and love. If I'd heard that, of course I's have jumped at the chance', she said. But, things all happen for a reason and maybe she had to refuse 'Don't Cha' so that she may be able to record her own hit, the 'Stars Are Blind'.

Meanwhile, if you're a fan, listen here Hilton's upcoming single ('Fightin' Over Me', featuring Fat Joe and Jadakiss) from her self-titled album.
