This may be probably the only time anyone can say this, just like in a fairy tale: it all began with Kevin Federline. First, it was the wannabe rapper who, under the misguided impression that he would thus be promoting himself and his music album, appeared in an episode of 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation'.
Now, it's sexy songstress Christina Aguilera the one who will make a special appearance in 'CSI: New York', in what is her first ever brush-off with acting (not counting voicing a character in 'Shark Tale'). The diva, also named The Voice for her impressive vocal abilities, will most likely play herself in the episode.
The news was confirmed by the executive producer of the show, Anthony Zulker, but he failed to say when the episode will air. Nevertheless, he did reveal that the episode in which she will star will deal with the case of a battered woman and Christina is famous for her involvement with this cause, having grown up in an abusive home and being an important contributor to a women's shelter in Pittsburgh.
'Christina's a fan of the show and we're excited to have her. The episode will probably explore the topic of battered women', Zulker told 'TV Guide' in a recent interview. But the series will not profit only from the singer's amazing looks, as it is believed that some of her tracks will also be included on the soundtrack of said episode.
