How about leaving aside shooters, racing games, MMOs and sims, to relax a little in front of the screen with 8Ball Allstars: Your Pool, Your Style coming on Nintendo DS in the third quarter of 2007. Published by Oxygen Games and developed by Code Monkeys, 8Ball Allstars: Your Pool, Your Style will retail for about 25 pounds.

So without further ado, here's what the new pool game brings:

Challenge opponents anywhere in the world with online access Play pool by your own rules, or learn some new ones with a selection global rule to choose from Multiple varieties of game play and types - allowing you to play however you like Single player tournament mode, with unique unlockable characters', tables and environments Play pool whenever and where ever you like with Local and Global multiplayer mode Spice up your game and master your trick shots with Challenge mode A range of cue tip positions allowing you to enhance your game and add top & back spin to your shots Winner stays on mode AI opponents each with their own characteristics and playing styles A clean and contemporary selection of environments and locations to play in, including bars and halls Style your play icon, and your table, with unique avatar and table design feature

Is seems that game developers haven't taken a vacation after all, but what about the Wii? Doesn't the Wii get a game too. OK so the DS got a pool game, give Wii gamers a cricket game.
