20th Century Fox has just signed a contract for moving the real-time action series '24', along with its character, CTU Agent Jack Bauer, from TV into cinemas.
The film is expected on the big screens at the beginning of 2007.

The producers of the original show, Robert Cochran and Joel Surnow are supposed to be responsible for the new script, at which they will start working at the end of this summer. Of course, rumor has it that a draft of the new feature-film has already been written but, if indeed that is the case, it is well guarded.

All that is certain at this point is that the film will focus more on the 'adventures' of Jack, interpreted by Kiefer Sutherland, instead of on the passing of time and that it will be shot on various international sets.

It is yet to be established if the main character will be played by the same actor, who is currently still working on the TV show, but Kiefer is extremely positive and interested in the project.
