Bill Gates will participate in the Vista celebration

There are now officially 0 days to the launch on Windows Vista. Microsoft will debut later today the celebration that will become synonymous with the commercial availability of the operating system. Microsoft Chief Executive Officer, Steve Ballmer, has already announced his participation in the launch of Windows Vista. On January 30, 2007, Ballmer will be at a Best Buy store in New York to kick off the retail availability of the operating system. Ballmer was also involved in the Business launch of Windows Vista, Office 2007 and Exchange Server 2007 at the NASDAQ headquarters in NY on November 30, 2006.

In this context, Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates will also be on location in the Vista capital of the world. Also from New York City, Gates will join the worldwide celebration for the general availability of Windows Vista and the 2007 Microsoft Office System.

Bill Gates will be present in Times Square in New York for the Vista and Office 2007 celebration. "The celebration pays tribute to the millions of Microsoft customers, partners and product testers around the world who provided input and feedback on these products -- helping Microsoft transform the way people communicate, create and share content, and access information and entertainment in the new digital age," revealed Microsoft.

Following the Times Square events, Gates will appear opposite Jon Stewart, on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart on Monday, January 29. Gates' participation has been confirmed by Comedy Central. The show is scheduled to air one hour before Windows Vista's midnight launch.
