I follow many rules in life, some are mine, some are others', but I often find common ground in things like friendship, responsibility, and various others aspects of life.
I’m always in the line for a good joke, a killer innovation or discovering new places. Switching from one hobby to another improved my personal achievements list considerably, while also keeping boredom at bay.
As far as technology goes, every new discovery and innovation gets me hyped up, willing to try it out to experience whatever it brings with it.
Personal motto: "Pick your battles, not everything is worth fighting for"

The daily use of applications are limited to just a few programs, such as web browsers, audio/video players, email clients or games, though the number of programs installed on the system is much bigger. A defrag tool, registry cleaner or hard disk clutter cleaner are instruments you run every once in a while. Program... |

Despite our everyday work, everyone needs a break, even computers. Saving energy is also important. I know that, when you have a deadline, and you’re only halfway done, the energy-saving issue is the least to worry about. But there are applications that can help save energy and start freshly at the same time. W... |

Communication does not imply too much care or effort for the average user (especially if one is chatting with their pals). Misspelling words in an email or an IM window to one's buds can sometimes turn into something hilarious, but it will not have an impact on them as a person. However, it so happens sometimes... |

On a daily basis, we use a third or less of all the applications installed on the system, but the situation changes when it comes to particular work. For example, how often do you use a system cleaner, or defragmenter? Such applications are obviously a must on your computer, but they are not for daily use, unless you... |

The first step in optimizing your system is startup. There are numerous applications that provide partial or total control of your startup items. The difference between partial and total control is the way that a startup manager handles the items. A complete solution, in my opinion, should provide startup item manage... |

When trying to optimize your system, the primary concern should be Windows Startup. Because of this entry level, the optimization process can and will win important points in the struggle to attain better performance. I’m not saying that your system will run smoothly with no blue-screen moments, or open applica... |

Depending on how many applications we install every day or on a weekly basis, Windows is loading more and more components at startup. The small apps, like a text editor, image viewer or a browser, do not necessary add components to startup, but bigger ones, like antivirus, malware scanners and removers or power manag... |

Although you spend a lot of money on hardware components (RAM, CPU or mainboard) to make your system faster and easier to work with, the results do not always depend on these investments. I am not arguing with the fact that an operating system that runs on 2GHz dual-CPU with 2GB RAM is a lot faster than one running u... |

System Optimization is a process that doesn't always end the way we want. We need to work on many levels in order to optimize or to achieve the optimization state we want. On a daily basis, I usually have at least five or six other programs that run in the background besides the ones that I work with. These are basically the ones that allow me to stay up to date with the latest news or notify me about any changes that are made to system configuration. All the programs are set to work ... |

The startup management process is among the first steps to optimize your computer, because in order to make Windows boot faster you need to remove or disable startup items. Many applications create entries in system startup that can slow down your system, but not all of them are mandatory startup items, like antiviru... |

System Startup affects the way your PC will boot. In order to gain time and boot faster you need to optimize, sort and manage startup items. The time it takes your system to boot depends on the number of items present in the system startup list. Basically, it is like this: the more the components to open at startup, the longer the time to load the operating system. Most of the times, it is really not necessary to start all of the most used applications at... |

Every time we boot our system, there are a few programs that start with Windows. Although we did not add any extra items to the startup list, we find that the operating system is loading slower and slower in time. This happens because not every application informs you of startup entries upon installation (although th... |

Every time we boot the system, there are a number of applications that try to start at the same time with Windows, which happens because many programs create shortcuts in the startup folder. When it comes to the system optimization process, an important component is considered to be the startup section. The Windows startup folder can store as many shortcuts as you want it to – however, there’s a downside to this since the bigger the number the slower the operating system will load. Unless you... |

How many times have you wondered about your PC’s slow booting and how this can be improved? Shelling out money on new, more powerful hardware is not a solution as, at one point or another, you will get back right where you started. One solution would be managing what loads up with Windows and shortening the lis... |

There are many ways to launch your shortcuts, access your files and folders or open your webpages. However, if you find a convenient way to do that and if it also involves an application that offers an impressive graphical User Interface, you might want to keep it. Every time we install a new application, a small footprint is added to start menu. Not many programs come with the option to erase or simply not create a Start Menu item. That is why it is hard to find a certain shortcut. I’ve seen a Start Menu that opened the Programs list over half the desktop space. In Windo... |

How many times did the standard Start Menu help you in finding the application you needed to run? How fast? I benefited from few such experiences because we all can agree upon one thing: the number of items from Start Menu is getting bigger every day. The more applications we run and install, the more items we add to... |
