Sony Ericsson is preparing to come up with two new handsets, codenamed Kumiko and Eian, which might represent a new direction in the company's way of designing products - a square-ish direction, if you want to call it something in particular.Kumiko should be officially named Sony Ericsson G705 (we've seen it before) and it will come as the first slider from the Web-oriented Gseries family of handsets – which currently includes the G502, G700 and G900 models. The new G705 has recently been spotted in lots of live images, found over at CellPhoneSail. These confirm the fact that the handset is quite an elegant one and, once comm... Although the Dream doesn't seem to be as advanced as, let's say, Samsung Omnia, it might still be one of the major mobile hits of this year. A very interesting aspect about the Dream / G1 is that, according to Androidguys, it will have an Android Marketplace. This should provide access to an online portal, from where users can download applications, gam... Unlike the current Samsung phones included in T-Mo's line-up of products, Tocco is a touchscreen device that packs a range of features which could make Sprint's Instinct feel a bit ashamed of itself. According to TmoNews, the new handset might be named "Samsung T919" or "Samsung Roxy" when released by T-Mobile in the States. Regardless of its final and official name, Samsung Tocco will bring users the following features: a 2.8 inch TFT touchscreen display with... Well, according to recently unveiled details, this will change pretty soon, as T-Mobile USA is said to be the world's first mobile carrier to offer an Android-powered handset. The New York Times is reporting that the fourth largest North American carrier is closely working with Google and HTC in order to release the first Android handset as soon as possible, maybe starting October. The device seems to be "HTC Dream", on which there is little info at the moment (save for the fact that it will r... The reference to Attila the Hun, the Hungarian king in the 5th century, is more than obvious, so Motorola seems to be seriously preparing itself for re-conquering the mobile market. Of course, in order to do so, the American manufacturer will need good-looking and well-featured new handsets. And if we look at Motorola Atila, we discover exactly a device of this kind. The design of Atila is somehow a mix between BlackBerry Bold, LG Dare and Apple's iPhon... You might say that this is obviously a move aimed at stealing some of the success the white iPhone 3G has, and you'd probably be right. Although there's nothing official to come from Samsung (yet) regarding the white Omnia, a mobile user from Singapore has already bought the Pocket PC in the new color and posted several images with it on the PPCSG Forum. As you can see in the available pictures, only the back case of Samsung Omnia (and its stylus) has turned white, ... The proof is a brand new Sony Ericsson G705, recently appeared on the Web in lots of unofficial but good-looking pictures. Unlike the other three G-series phones currently available on the market (G502, G700 and G900), which are all candybars, the G705 is a slider. Its overall design resembles the one of the W910 Walkman phone, but it brings more elegance and a nicer alphanumeric keypad. There aren't too many details about the features of Sony Ericsson G705, but from the available images we can see that the h... While this might sound crazy for some, it's not at all a thing that can't be done with ease. Why? Well, because the iPhone 3G, unlike the first-generation iPhone, comes in a plastic case. And it's far simpler to change the color of plastic than the one of the metal from which the first iPhone's case is made. Furthermore, you might already know about the (PRODUCT) RED campaign - Apple is selling red iPods (both shuffle and nano) and parts of the revenue ... The handset, also known under the codename Sony Ericsson Patti, was not yet announced by the company, but it has been spotted in several live pictures.W902 is built on the same hardware platform as the C902 Cyber-shot, thus we could say that it's the Walkman version of C902. We can see in the available images (first appeared on the SE4m forum) that, as the Cyber-shot phone, W902 comes in a candybar form factor and it's very slim, probably measuring around 10 millimeters in thickness. When it comes... The 9500 Thunder seems to be the most media-centered from all of RIM's devices. Spotted at BlackBerrySync, the new images are showing the 9500 featuring a dedicated music interface, a Video player and only four hardware keys. Since there's no info about a QWERTY keypad packed in the Thunder, we're guessing these keys and the large touchscreen will be the only ways to access the functions of the device. The display of Thuder is said to be... [read more >>] |
